🧩 2. Connect Trakt with Stremio
As of now, Stremio does not have native Trakt integration, but you can use third-party tools like mdblist to bridge them.
Option A: Using mdblist to Link Trakt to Stremio
- Go to https://mdblist.com

- Link your Trakt account
- Import Trakt lists (Watchlist, Favorites, History)
- Copy the Stremio add-on URL provided by mdblist
- In Stremio:
- Go to the Add-on Catalog
- Scroll down to “Install via URL”
- Paste the link
✅ Your Trakt lists will now appear in Stremio!
Option B: Manually Export Trakt Lists
If you prefer full control:
- Export your Trakt list as a CSV or use the API
- Use it to build a custom Stremio add-on
- (Requires technical setup)
- See: Stremio Add-on SDK
🔄 Syncing Progress
While you can’t sync watched history directly from Trakt to Stremio (yet), some workarounds:
- Use mdblist to reflect updated watched lists
- Use Scrobble features in other media apps (like Kodi + Stremio bridge)
- Consider using browser extensions or plugins to sync Trakt activity
💡 Best Practices
- Keep your Trakt account updated with your Stremio activity
- Use Trakt lists to organize content by genre, mood, or priority
- Share lists with friends or embed them in your blog/site
